Dicarzol® (Formetanate) and Imidan® (Phosmet) gain Annex I Inclusion - Gowan’s carbamate insecticide Dicarzol (Formetanate) and organophosphate insecticide Imidan (Phosmet) have been voted for inclusion in Annex I by the European Union (EU) regulatory commission. Gowan looks forward to continued global support of these two very effective insecticides.

First-quarter sales growth for Sariaf-Gowan S.p.A in Italy. Italian agrochemical firm Sariaf-Gowan posted a 25% jump in sales in the 1st quarter 2006 compared with the same period of the previous year. Results were boosted by the launch of new products and increasing market recognition of the company.

Triallate is Back!! Triallate sold as Avadex 15G will be fully available in the UK for both spring and autumn campaigns, see our web site www.avadex.co.uk. Similarly in France, as Avadex 480 and as Parnass through our distributor Phyteurop S.A. Triallate is also back in Spain, and we will make our first sales of Avadex 480 in Belgium and Avadex 400 in the Netherlands in 2006! Avadex 400 will again be made available in Austria, distributed by Staehler Austria.
