Change in Ownership of Sariaf Gowan YUMA, ARIZONA (July 18, 2008). In a further strengthening of the resources available to Sariaf Gowan to support continued growth, Margarita Internacional Comércio e Serviços (Margarita), a company based in Madeira, has acquired 70% of the shares held by Sipcam so that the shareholder structure is now GCIS 50%, Margarita 35% and Sipcam 15%.

Gowan Co. Acquires Zoxamide Rights from Dow AgroSciences INDIANAPOLIS, INDIANA (July 17, 2008) - Gowan Company, LLC has reached an agreement with Dow AgroSciences LLC to acquire the rights to its global zoxamide fungicide business, marketed primarily under the brand names ZOXIUMTM, GAVELTM, ELECTISTM, UNIKATTM and HARPONTM.

US Import Tolerances Granted in 2007 for Fenazaquin - In August of 2007 the US EPA granted residue import tolerances for the use of Fenazaquin on apples, pears and citrus crops imported into the United States. This will allow importation of these 3 commodities from any country using Fenazaquin for mite control in these commodities. This is part of the process of Gowan continuing to expand our global markets with this product. Fenazaquin is sold under the trade names Magister®, Matador®, Pride®, Pride Ultra®, Magus® , Demiton® and Turkoise® and is currently registered in about 60 countries globally.
